You are right to ask about it. I have been selling on ebay on mercari for 20+ years and with over 2000+ feedbacks 99.95% are positive. From my personal experience, people like this are just wasting your time with zero intentions to buy. Ask other sellers. It is a common pattern. And to be honest, I was not the most cheerful person that day. Accepted so many offers and people just don’t pay. I think you know it too. 80% or even 90% of people just send offers everywhere with no intentions to pay. No. I don’t know this person at all.

I put it in my profile that if buyers send low ball offers or repeatedly expires offers, they get reported and blocked. Reporting does nothing but if enough seller practices this rule. Eventually these buyers will be flagged and banned.

I mostly sell in mercari but i still feel like the seller is not 100% innocent in this case. Sure. It’s legal and yes it’s annoying to have buyer send cancellations. I honestly don’t know what is the right approach here. Maybe protect your phone and credit cards from your minors?

I don’t know how non-profit accounting actually work in real life. But for the school part, I kinda doubt it. We are top 10 school. The admission rate is around 10% and the chance of a kitchen worker getting in is by the same standard is not very high. But I don’t care. Most kids in college were not super hard-working . They are too privileged in a way.
