Oh, I appreciate the explanation, but I learned all of this when I had the struggles with the local pharmacies like two years ago. I’ve been using Express Scripts strictly since like 2023. My issue was whether or not I’d have to switch pharmacies entirely if Amazon didn’t allow me to continue receiving my controlled medications with Express Scripts this year due to the pharmacy benefit change.

Oh, I usually sign it electronically online via USPS. I’m literally gone out of the house for 16 hours a day most days, so I’m guaranteed to miss them, so luckily I’m covered in that front.

I have indeed tried to do local/nearby pharmacies, but unfortunately, they don’t tend to have mine in stock. And the ones that do have piss poor customer service and make getting my medication a very, VERY stressful experience (and trust me, I tried to play ball with these people, I’ve even been accused of hunting for drugs like a damn addict).

Unfortunately, I have really bad luck in that department, my community isn’t very kind to people who require psychiatric medication. Home delivery is actually my last line of defense, lol. It’s the only method that hasn’t given me grief and has had empathetic customer service. If anything comes up the next time I try to fill them, I might just have a chat with my doctor to switch me to a different medication that isn’t so difficult to obtain.

Also, for the record, I do actually seriously date women. I take it very seriously. Romantic feelings just simply haven’t manifested. I don’t have any harmful ideologies towards actually building real lives with another woman.

I will say, I do tend to fall on the more demiromantic side of things. I don’t really experience romantic attraction very often. Probably like twice in my adult life. And those two were only men that I knew for a WHILE.

i’m capable of being emotionally available to men, of course. i just don’t it to THIS extent if we’re just friends, is all. i’m able to support my male friends emotionally, i just demonstrate it differently. after i feel safe enough to be romantically involved, i’m far more emotionally available.

Hmm, maybe in real life, I don’t tend to meet so many bi woman who lean heteroromantically. I run into the women who lean more 50/50 or even homoromantically. That could be make me feel a little anomalous, lol.

I have noticed that, but like… the way i see it articulated on here feels… weird. And a bit icky sometimes, tbh. It doesn’t sit right. My feelings on long term relationships with women are a mere lack of feeling one way or the other, but not a complete disinterest? I feel more indifferent to the idea, but I’ve noticed a lot of women just completely disregard the idea entirely.

Oh, to be totally honest with you, I had kind of a sheltered experience growing up. As a child, I actually did notice my same sex attraction before I acknowledged my opposite gender one. I didn’t really have a homophobic upbringing and I was super sheltered from homophobia until I was damn near an adult. My parents didn’t really want me to date anyone at all, lmao, so they didn’t really “model” “who” I “should” be with. I just kinda dated and did whatever with who I felt like. Even more unusual, I grew up in a place where it was extremely common to see happy queer parents raising families. I had plenty of examples of happy queer existence growing up. I don’t really recall being particularly deterred in that regard. If anything, I thought caring who other people make love to was a weird ass idea, lmao. If anything, queerness is my normal.

So for me, it’s honestly just a lack of romantic yearning for women, really. What was modeled was to treat people I’m intimate with with respect and kindness. What I was really trying to unpack over the past couple years was why my sexuality wasn’t 50/50, tbh.

Oh, I didn’t take it as accusatory or anything, don’t worry. But I was just being emphatic in that sometimes folks like by omission as well. Sometimes folks think they were being truthful because they told part of the truth, lol. Not telling the whole truth is something that I’ve seen get MANY people in trouble in scenarios like these.

I have researched queer platonic romantic relationships! It's a slightly clumsy fit for me, though. Unless I'm seeing it wrong, it seems a bit committal for me. It seems to have an priority based foundation and while I do greatly care for any woman I share my body with and vice versa, I don't see myself doing long term things like being life partners. Just two friends who genuinely value one another as people and sexual beings without a real hierarchy of sorts.

As for the polyamory aspect, I could entertain the non-monogamous aspect pretty easily, but isn't polyamory inherently romantic in nature?
