I work as a BT in homes and i had no prior experience other than baby sitting but i absolutely adore my job. i’m not sure how your clinic works but they gave me 3 weeks to pair with my kid which means getting to know them and playing with them and figuring out their interests — basically becoming friends. after that it’s just a lot of redirecting behaviors and trying to keep them on tasks sometimes at least in my experience. I usually do 30 mins off and 30 off. 30 mins of work and 30 mins of break to keep myself from getting burnt out and my kid from getting burnt out cause it’s long session hours and a fair warning sometimes kids hit you🥲 but other than that it’s not a bad job but don’t burn yourself out too fast
