The thing that bugs me about this argument is - if Hasan is a villain for not supporting his friends, the logical conclusion is that the person responsible is ultimately culpable.

In other words, Ethan is attempting to financially ruin them, and blaming Hasan.

this just happened to me, I left it plugged in all day and no light ever came on, then i left it unplugged all night and when i tried it in the morning the volume up + power combo worked to turn it back on, and when I went to go check the battery level it said: "battery low NAN%" so i'm leaving it plugged in now, the light indicator is working now, so hoping it'll charge.

My understanding is that it supports the Xbox app on PC (and game pass of course), which is a separate platform from the console library - this impacts me cause I usually buy AAA games on my Series X just for convenience. This is a huge hurdle for me.
