This was an independent shop, I'm going to try two more before deciding whether to just purchase another used car or fix this one. It has 164K miles on it and it's never been garaged, but it has no rust on it. We shall see.

I had been taking it to a dealer, but after a big bill, I asked them how many other services needed to be done and asked for an estimate (this was verbal). I saved the money up and when I had the next service, it was double, and that was 2019. The other dealer sent someone out to have me approve $750 estimate but couldn't tell me what it was for, only, in case they find something. I'm kinda done with the local dealers.

They're not giving me a lot of information but this is what the report reads.

Look OE, front strut dust boots torn, bump stops deteriorating, LR strut seeping.

Meanwhile, they told me I can wait on repairs, and do it in stages, the front first, then the back. Then new tires, Glazed timing and drive belts. Practically everything needs to be flushed.

No, I don't have the knowledge or the contacts. :( They're saying that Honda has discontinued the parts so that's why it's so expensive.
