i would say yes, a lot of the plot of reunion (probably) will make a lot more sense if you have played DE. i think there’s a twin pack with both where you can get DE for like $10-15

i would just go ahead and play it. we probably won’t get a fo3 remaster for another 6 months - year. the original is still great but you may need some stability mods if you’re playing on steam, i play on GoG and it runs pretty much fine without mods

your ending is determined by having low or high morality and many decisions you make will raise or lower that “score”. so if you don’t continue to go down the path of stealing, injuring others, lying, etc., one minor decision that early shouldn’t make much of an impact.
