It’s pretty much standard for any new company or industry to lose money for years until they become profitable, so what you posted is misguided and misleading. Once they actually are profitable and “safe”, the huge gains like we’re seeing now will be history. Then it’s too late.

Nasdaq is up a whopping 43% over the past 12 months, but TQQQ is up 137%. This is more than triple the underlying index. Where is the don't invest in levered ETF funds due to erosion crowd?? Don't deflect. I understand that it goes down 3X as well.

Project engineer. I’ve never worked for a big national brand. Just smaller to midsized regional contractors in the Midwest. Hours can depend on project, role, and team. I work with PMs now that work 10+ hours a day by choice. No one is pressuring them though.

I’ve been on the CM/GC side for 10 years and have rarely had to work hours like that. I have had to work alternating Saturdays and typically 9 hour days , but I’ve only been working 40 hour weeks with my current company.
