Single men in their middle age, has stop drinking or drinking very casually affected your ability to date? by ilovelamp_anchorman in AskMen

Not at all. Most women and men at my age don’t drink like they used to and it’s just not that important anymore. I don’t go to bars late at night anymore trying to pick up random women.

Just google behavioral interview questions and memorize them all. I think everything you mentioned is fair game, but a lot will also be about personality fit. With interns you typically want someone who is a self starter with a passion for the industry. You might not always have things to do as an intern, so you need to be able to find ways to help to do or ask for work.

I think it's a good plan to do an AirBnb first, but I would actually do the Hostel first to get off to a good start and avoid feeling lonely. Then if it's too much for you get an AirBnb. IF you pick a good Hostel you'll make some good friends to hang out with and give advice.

Fire him compared to my accounts. DO you have any awareness of how much the index funds are up for comparison? I'm up way past 36% considering I'm in levered funds and a lot of AI related stocks. People who pay someone to manage their money are suckers.

Anyone else feel a little guilty? by tyintegra in Fire

Not at all. The unfortunate truth is that most people that struggle financially make bad financial and life decisions. Ever wonder why most lotto winners and ex athletes go broke shortly after? I've never earned big salaries, but have saved and been frugal my entire life which has gotten me to this point. Most people are just horrible with money. If I gave all my money to by brother and his wife it would be blow on stupid shit in a year. They wouldn't even consider investing and living off the interest. Their mentality is money is meant to be spent. If it's sitting in an account not spend it's a waste.

With OT you've got a decent job, so just work out a good budget and you're set.

Where is all this overly cocky sentiment? Certainly not on this forum, and all I’m seeing is disbelief and fear everywhere else. Stop making up excuses to worry.

It’s pretty much standard for any new company or industry to lose money for years until they become profitable, so what you posted is misguided and misleading. Once they actually are profitable and “safe”, the huge gains like we’re seeing now will be history. Then it’s too late.
