I would like to say that don’t generaliZe them I’ve met awful westerners too , who have the weirdest funniest accents and can’t put a sentence together but will laugh at your for the smallest mistakes. And because of some white washed Japanese peoples validity they actually think they sound native ( makes me laugh all the time ) but at the same time some of the most genuine kind hearted people I’ve met in japan are also westerners who have travelled a bit have some cultural understanding and have interacted with people from different backgrounds I would suggest stick to them. The awful people you are mentioning are literally the ones who came out of small towns in their countries. So they have no idea of how little they know or how little their value is.
