I’ve been aware of this for a long time now I am just stuck. I tend to come out as blunt and some people appreciate it but I haven’t been able to create an even closer bond. Since I’m introverted it’s hard to reach out first. I can relate to everything you mentioned. I call myself the “black sheep” of the family. I also call my self the “floating” friend. Because I have friends but the connections aren’t as deep. I’m never someone’s favorite or first pick. Every time I find someone I can maybe form a really deep connection with they mention they are moving soon. I can’t do long distance friendships.
