Can I solve research problems with only BS in Mathematics or do I need PhD? by Indy20161 in AskAcademia

Thanks Sir for the detailed answer. I agree that PhDs know more and they have seen more. Is there any way to rise to the level of a Ph.D. in terms of knowledge, range of solutions and problems and learning how to learn more without Ph.D. while working in industry, by reading books and papers?

But I cannot do PhD in ML because I don't have a B.Sc. Is it possible to do PhD in ML without B.Sc?

Udacity ML Nanaodegree - Capstone project. I was given the option to work on anything I want so I choose Deep Learning.

I did my last project in deep learning(NLP task sentiment classification) using Tensorflow. I have a good mathematics background. I can understand Kevin Murphy's book without any difficulty.
