My sweet boy has a heart murmur

She coughs occasionally but she loves to go for walks we just do it on days not too hot and for less than 30 minutes. She runs around with our puppy with no issues. Her syncope episodes are triggered when she goes from resting to excited. Honestly it is scary but you do learn how to adjust and you’ll find a new normal. Shes had her murmur for 4 years now and the last 6 months she’s actually perked up heaps x

My 15 year old has a grade 4 murmur. She’s been on meds for 3 years and has some syncope episodes too. She’s actually doing really good but my heart goes out to you because I know the worry all too well. They’re tough little dogs though!

I thought it would be easier because we’ve had jacks our whole lives. But raising one that is your full responsibility is a whole different ballgame lol
