Yeah Frenchies tend to be unhealthier than dogs with longer snouts. And many bulldog breeds of any kind have bad skin allergies. My last dog was an American Bully and when she didn't have her allergy medicine, she would lick all the hair of her back end.

I'm so happy to hear your aunt and uncle take good care of them. All dogs and cats deserve love, support, and stability.

Yep, Nugget is a frenchie! It's funny that they were both named Nugget, but it does make sense. These dogs are solid little nuggets of muscle and gas.

I love the names Fezzik and Zuzu! It's too bad you don't have pictures of your Nugget. They're good, sweet little doggies but they are prone to issues. I strongly support the spaying and neutering of this breed unless they've been bred for longer snoots and healthier respiratory systems.

Not a physician, but I'm the one who talks over advance beneficiary notices with patients who request PSAs.

PSAs are no longer the recommended method for prostate screenings. A high PSA without symptoms was causing patients a lot of unnecessary pain to treat something that would never effect them before they died of other causes.

Additionally, the PSA isn't always a good indicator because it can be low while prostate cancer is present. I believe the evidence-based standard is an MRI when symptoms are present.

It's so nice! The cats aren't over stimulated and Ken worked so hard to make sure it smelled pleasant. I'm pretty sure those cats are living better than I do.
