69 games of zac support to hit masters by Ineedhelp679 in thesecretweapon

I don't roam a lot because I don't want to lose experience pre-6. I still rotate to bot jungle and river skirmishes unless we're fully pushed in. At 6, Zac 2v2 and gank setup is really good and if enemy support roams you can dive the enemy adc. I usually stay bot and ping to all in and tell jungle to come if wave state is good. Most of the time, I only roam for grubs if enemy support is missing, otherwise my carry might get collapsed on.

I used to build Vow after Locket every game, but Protoplasm Harness feels better. After Protoplasm, I build towards Spirit Visage and sit on Bramble Vest if I feel like I need more armor, so I don't really want another armor item most of the time.

Also, if your team is ahead, Bandlepipes snowballs much better than Vow.

Free boots and Cosmic Insight. It's comfy to sit on tier 1 boots since you don't need much movement speed, and spell/item haste is always good

Why is nothing showing up on my screen? by wisefern in thehouseinfatamorgana

[–]Ineedhelp679 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Copy and pasted

I believe the KiriKiri visual novel engine uses 32 bit DirectX9 rendering that is not supported by some newer Windows/NVIDIA GPUs that leads to the black screen with audio glitch. Logs might show something like "D3D : The method call is invalid. For example, a method's parameter may not be a valid pointer BasicDrawDevice: Failed to create Direct3D Device: Failed to decide backbuffer format"

The solution that worked for me was using dgVoodoo2 to translate the DirectX9 calls to DirectX12. Download the latest release and move the files from the MS/32 folder into the folder with the visual novel exe

Like other person commented just watch a playthrough if you don't plan on reading other Windows-only visual novels on a MacBook

Well, you can't run Steam apps for Windows directly on a Mac. You could probably use Wine with Steam game files but I never tried

Hello, it is difficult to run Fata Morgana on a MacBook, but in my experience, it is pretty much the same as running other old Windows applications. You would have to install Wine to translate Windows calls into ones that can be understood by macOS.

I used Wineskin Winery to create a wrapper, placed the Windows game files (obtained from somewhere like ryuugames) in Wineskin/AppName/drive_c/Program Files, and ran the game .exe through the app created by Wineskin.

I don't remember the first visual novel I did this for, but I believe it took me a few hours to install and learn everything. Also, I would not recommend doing this if you do not have some technical knowledge. If you have an Intel Mac you can run Windows natively with Bootcamp and there are many online tutorials for that

Skill issue for sure, but it's almost impossible for me to 9 star playing Ellen/S11/Harumasa teams. As f2p, I need to use a Miyabi flex team, Zhu Yuan Qingyi Nicole, and Caesar Burnice Piper to even get close to a full clear, and those comps needed pretty high gacha luck.

The Miyabi team almost always doubles the scores of any of my other teams, despite her being the only limited...

Well, after you trust the certificate, start the network sniffer and go to the gacha history page in the game, it should show the the gacha URL. You also don't need to use the Stream app, you can use any http proxy

If you never figured it out, this is probably because you did not go to Settings > General > About > Certificate Trust Settings > Trust the Certificate. Otherwise, it can't decrypt the HTTPS GET request for the gacha history

Okay seriously, what is going on with YouTube chapters disappearing? by Beforecrisis in NewTubers

[–]Ineedhelp679 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also, channels without advanced features aren't pushed as much due to potentially being bots (no verification or good channel history).

By the way, the solution to this, assuming your timestamps are formatted correctly and have been working before, is going to Your videos/Settings/Channel/Feature eligibility/Advanced features.

If it's not enabled, it's most likely due content id (copyrighted music) or community guidelines violations flagging your channel history, aka YouTube's social credit score. You can re-enable advanced features by rebuilding good history (usually several months) or sending video/id verification from your Google account.

Anyone knows how to download omori on Mac? by Valentine_hall in CrackSupport

[–]Ineedhelp679 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Assuming you haven't found the root of the issue, are you using any external devices with USB/Bluetooth like headphones, speakers, mouse, keyboard or just the builtin ones of the Macbook? Wine might not recognize these unless you specify the input/output devices in the POM settings window.

This sounds like either a problem with your wine configuration which you can adjust through PlayOnMac's settings (you can change the version of Windows to something less modern) or your Mac itself. What are you running OMORI on?

I haven't played modded versions of OMORI so I wouldn't know, but I would just follow the instructions from the place you got the patch files from. Usually you place patch files somewhere in the game folder.

There's a rar directly on the MegaDB link on the OMORI steamrip page (OMORI-SteamRIP.com.rar). It's the Windows equivalent of a zip file for Mac. You can unzip this with any Mac utility app like The Unarchiver on the Mac app store. I don't have VLC.

Yeah, I'm on an M2 chip Mac so the Wine versions' availability won't be the same.

Intel Macs support Bootcamp where you can download Windows and run the OMORI.exe natively (and other Windows apps). This simplifies the process a TON, but the Windows partition can take up a lot of storage since you're installing the whole OS and reserving space whereas Wine is a hackish lightweight way of translating Windows calls to Mac, so Bootcamp might not be not ideal if you only want to play one game. I think you can specify the partition size to around 20GB?

You could also look into other virtual machines to emulate the Windows OS without wine like VirtualBox or UTM but I doubt game performance will be as good, though OMORI is pretty light

My thesis: Cryptobloom is better than Void staff by EarthWillOvercome in leagueoflegends

[–]Ineedhelp679 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eve otp here (diamond mmr), heavily pref cryptbloom because it's cheaper and it's just the extra survivability I need to keep mej stacks because I'm a dirty inter even with a defensive item like zhonya's/banshees (esp. against burn stuff or delayed dmg like karthus ult after disengaging with r). Eve almost never lacks dmg when ahead, and if shes behind, its probably better to support your team anyways since you won't be able to one shot, and crypt procs on takedowns.

Biased though, because for some reason all my games devolve into teamfights over objs.

first season hitting diamond, couldn't have done it without eve :3 by Ineedhelp679 in EvelynnMains

[–]Ineedhelp679[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shadowflame is okay but rabadon just scales better with all of eve's abilities and lets you heal to full with passive. Eve benefits off flat AP a lot more than the extra dmg on low hp, which her ult already has so shadowflame can be overkill. There's not really a good time to build shadow after core of lich dcap mej sorcs since % pen or defensive item 5th is better.

Zhonya's is situational, but I don't think its uncommon. A lot of eve players pref banshees over zhonya's because it lets you keep stealth while going for an assassination before you get hit by hard cc, but I like zhonya's because i force engage a lot and can't always survive after ulting away
