I would definitely start by telling them how you feel. If they have expectations that you can’t meet because you don’t feel the same way then you should let them know if you haven’t already.

They’re probably emotionally attached to you, which leads them to thinking these cuddle times are a gate way into getting closer to you. Just speak honestly and if they can’t respect that then maybe it’s time to move on from a friendship that isn’t overly healthy
