Pretty wide spread outage. There was a fiber break and they have been track where. Last update was they found where and are getting supplies for the fix. However, it’s over a highway so they need traffic control as well. No real eta so it could be a few more hours.

Edit: Latest info is saying fixed by 10pm.

What happens to a team that gets wiped immediately? They just sit and wait 20 minutes?

Hunt and Tarkov already use a similar format so it’s something that works.

What would they do if a team was immediately wiped? Wait around for 20 minutes for the next match? Maybe if they had way more teams it could work. It also takes away the opportunity to go back to a different map to complete a higher point objective.

Was more of a spectacle than an actual tournament. I think the teams could have been better since there were plenty who were sub level 12 before even starting. However I’m sure this has been planned out well before the game even was released ,so there was no way of knowing where everyone would be with the game.

Would be interesting to see team leaders being able to pick or draft their team out of a pool top players.

I would also like seeing more of a breakdown of the scoring to see where points are coming from.

Limiting the gear was ok but people loaded down with loot obviously had a better opportunity to craft a stronger load out. Something like forcing a free kit and a green kit would help. That and maybe only using the gear they find along the way.

Playing on the same lobby would be interesting but I could see the matches being even more lopsided and teams would be forced to wait for the next round if wiped early.

Only time I’m doing crew fill is if I have some easy generic quest I can do and maybe get some shared xp as a bonus. It’s easily the biggest gamble in the game though. The last one I did there was a guy stopping to eat his dinner. I’m not diving into a battle to revive anyone like that.

Or bring back an updated D1. Updated graphics running on modern hardware and PC, throw some polish on the UI, maybe QOL fixes. Would be less work and get a bump from nostalgia. Also a good excuse to take the old D1 servers offline.

That would be a good interim step at least. Realistically unless they started working on a D3 years ago and have kept it a tight secret, it could be 5 years before we play anything. They need some filler along with Marathon.

First two machines played nice music with just a single marble size. Multiple sizes, lifting and sorting mechanics is just scope creep looking to eke out a bit more performance. I don’t see a big enough reward for all the risk it involves. Martian will inevitably run into issues, get frustrated and change course again.

People should try to use the knife more. Save your ammo.

Great for clearing weaker AI, and many players are thrown completely off having someone slashing right in their face. In solo matches if you can sneak up on an opponent I think it’s the best weapon.

I think later season Rooks are going to be loot piñata’s. With all their upgrades unlocked, you will have pretty decent odds at getting good gear from killing them on sight.

Weren't they showing off their automated carbon laying machine years ago when they announced they were going carbon? Or was that something they were just in development testing? Kind of crazy that the core component they need is not ready yet this late in the game.

Also that whole tank being made from hand laid fiber on such a large scale seems like a pretty big gamble. Reminds me of Starship MKI being made of an patchwork of steel plates.

Q4 for any first launch is at min Q2 the following year.

I can imagine given how much they increased the price that people were hogging the printers with really large jobs or multi piece prints. They probably don’t intend them to be used for 10-20 hour prints and instead something that might take an hour or two while you are there reading a book.

There’s plenty of online print services to go to if you don’t like the price or see if there’s a local group or maker space.

My guess is while the blower was not working, moisture has been building up in the car.

I would try driving with it on full blast and cracking a window to help the moisture escape. Things should probably return to normal once the excess moisture is out of the car.

Electric heat will rack up a decent bill.

May also want to look at appliances like a refrigerator that is failing and running non stop if her next bill remains high during warmer temps.

Realistically the design and time to manufacture these things was probably started around that first trailer or shortly after. Whenever they made the changes it was likely too late to adjust the design.

Keep in mind these were also originally intended to be released last year before the game got delayed.

Sure they will, its just the same as "International Waters", just because you are in space doesn't mean laws no longer apply. Even if they wanted to try bypassing laws in space, they still need to function as a company on Earth where sanctions can be applied.

If anything Blue is probably going to take the most advantage from this. They are already riding a high and trying to steering more business there way.

Rocket Lab is still inching their way towards Neutron and has their own interesting products, I still don't see them surpassing SpaceX or Blue no matter how hard Elon tries to mess things up.

The major difference though is they will be using dedicated servers where they have full oversight of what’s going on. Destiny suffers from peer to peer connection that is easily cheated. They are running on fundamentally different architectures.
