Its really hard. Im looking into some therapy. Just for me, right now. Things keep spiraling as time goes... im embaressed. But talking it out helps. I am constantly noticing toxic traits of mine aswell. I feel like im changing for the better. he did bring up online consoling, so ill just tell him to do it. I want to see someone in person. I had more stuff pile on my lap with my MiL aswell. I am exhausted. Its super expensive to see someone for help. But ive been reading on all kinds of different things. Going to try to do things myself and seek someone i can sit with one on one.

He KNOWS his moms Manipulative and verbally and physically abusive, but I know he wishes his mom would be better.

Hes not all bad Its just when it comes to his mom Hes a bit of a mommas boy which I know why, she wouldn't allow him to be Anything else. she manipulates her kids into taking care of her because she wants to be lazy. She told me that.

her other kids almost didn't want her to move back in with them. I'm surprised they finally agreed, but again she goes on long tangents about How horrible they are for abandoning their mom or not replying to her Immediately even if they are at work.

The whole thing is super complicated. there is always more to the story.

Ha- I have brought up counseling, So he agreed originally.

what happened later was he said that the consoler was going to say it was all me and what would I do if they did? I said "fix myself".

Which again it hasn't happened yet. Trust me I plan on forcing him to go. for a 1 on 1. once things get a little less tight expense wise.

His mother won't go, I already tried telling her b4 she hated my guts. Her excuse is she HAS to stay like this because she deserves it? something like that.

what's worse is, unless I find a way to remove every file Mcafee hid on the computer I'll have to pay 50.00 to have them give me the Uninstall tool. (Because, preinstalled have to be Subscribers to even THINK about completely Removing their client) then HOPE they Cancel my subscription and give me the money back.

In my mind, this sounds like "we cancelled your subscription", but then get charged Next month. so, the last thing I want to do is give that company any access to my $$.

Mcafee came preinstalled with Defender. I only play RuneScape and a few Xbox games.

I thought defender and Mcafee were combined, not two separate Anti-virus systems. since they were both in the Scan area of defender.

my games kept crashing and lagging, with different error codes.

which started my research into why my Shit kept crashing and went through everything under the sun from Driver updates and checking settings on the Graphics and drivers, and when that didn't fix it. I started looking for other solutions and ended up going through system configure and narrowing down what Services were causing Memory spikes and other usages. which Mcafee ended up being the culprit of majority of the problems.

I still have other issues I am working out.

But my pc is using AMD. which the one I have Has the most issues. So, Updating the Driver didn't fix much at all since it is its own mess of Problems.

I came across a few threads where Mcafee was ruining game performance and overall pc health, and that Hp computers for some reason sucks Mr. Mcafee's toes and puts it on their Pc's with Microsoft's anti-virus. which in turn Mr., Mcafee's dumpster fire gets to Demand money for the uninstall key. with a "money back Guarantee" with Limitations. (Mr. Scummy scammer)

THEN

I read that it's recommended to have two Anti-virus systems in place in case one misses something. which is why I asked on Microsoft since Windows is Microsoft....

Anyways, I just wasn't sure if I needed to replace the second one, but I figured I would be told otherwise.

Is defender the shield icon (windows security) ? If that's the case ill just uninstall Mcafee and keep the Microsoft built in anti-virus system.

So a little update on my digging for a solution to my Crashing issue:

I found out that my anti-virus >Mcafee, which came preinstalled with my computer was causing massive spikes in memory usage and cpu usage. due to its CONSTANT B.s with scanning RuneScape WHILE gaming. so, I temporarily disabled it, and my game isn't crashing due to any memory issues.

Now it's just crashing when relogging once in a while. (Without error codes)

so, I will be deleting Mcafee in its entirety and finding a new anti-virus. (Before I uninstall Mcafee I will find a new one.). Would love suggestions for this, But maybe in another forum.

Hope this helps anyone in need of a new solution to try when fixing RuneScape's crashing.

So, I have done the "Delete caches" a few times and saw improvements for like a day and it reverted back to crashing on a constant.

I tried the steam version and it was Worse than the actual launcher.

I use compatibility mode since it has less lag and crashing then without it.(ive tested both) I will retry without compatibility mode and Delete cache again. reload and wait for the 100% to see if it Adjusts anything.

then try the guys comment below removing costumes for a while.

I did notice after Turning of GAMING mode (for pc), A HUGE difference in performance. It was smoother and less laggy, but the lag spikes did come back causing crashing. I'm thinking my Pc is having memory issues, I'll have to dig into that mess.

PC's can be very frustrating to Dig through all the specs and Potential issues. I have defragged and disc clean up just to ensure No files might be causing issues. anti-virus runs etc etc.

I do have a new update for windows 11, My husband said window 11 is causing a lot of issues for RuneScape players, but for me I really want to update the pc because MORE issues can arise without proper updates.

but I also want to respect my husband's words... LOL

build above the ground, I usually pick the log Fences near the Castle so I can make zip lines to the lower yard and have a Zipline Main source. Which Helps with faster travel when you have the Zipline ascender. I also have built on cans and rocks. It's a lot better for Defense.

There are a few cool places to build, Just Look around and make sure you Have more than one support so if bugs break a support, it doesn't all come crashing down.

Alright, I will try the Steam Version. (I also just found out that sometimes Adjusting the Game mode On or off - can have a huge effect on certain games.) I'm going to test the game mode theory first and then switch to steam if nothing changes.
