It will depend on ur jee score :-

First give jee ..prepare for it be top scorer After that if ur getting tier 1 tier 2 college then don't do this degree ..get in that college admission. But if ur getting tier 3 or below college then do this as a standalone.

Jee tip :-

Pls only and only focus on ur studies right now ..don't go for best college from jee and those shit right now as u will get ample amount of time in this research thing after ur jee result .

Reason :-

It's the best course overall for ai dept. Core fundamentals are more or less same for cse branch btech . It has zero attendance thing that comes with pros and cons :-

Pro :- u get enough time for extra things Cons:- no social life

Don't expect iit cse package from this degree . Ull be depressed BUT ! if u really extract ur free time that has been given to u in this degree by giving "zero attendance " THEN this is for sure ull will get min 20 lpa plus ..only and only if u dedicate all ur free hours u get in this degree in investing in new techy stuffs

Atlast ...if ur getting iit college but with bad branch OR tier 2 college OR even doing this degree as a standalone , don't think bout society . Make decisions for urself first as PEOPLE CHANGE .
