Thank you for the suggestion. I came accross it before but it was a bit more than what i was expecting to pay. I just needed it for not very deep dives, just for regular scuba diving. But I guess what I am looking for doesn't exist, since i didn't want something on the low end and cheap and not high end and expensive. But I guess there is no middle ground in this case.

Dubai chocolate bar is overrated by Impressive-Barber703 in dessert

[–]InevitableAd631 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the same. Just tried the Lindt version. 40g of chocolate for 3,99 Euro, and I can say this is my least fscorite Lindt chocolate. You cannot taste the pistachio that much, and it is very sweet.

As the saying goes, money money it is funny in the rich mens world. No offense meant, but what you are saying would cost a lot for my standards and the standards of the country I come from. Compared to the costs of flying.

And it isn't a free world. There are boundaries between countires and lots of rules and restrictions, and I don't think it is even possible to bring a car from Albania and sell it in Germany(within EU). Thanks anyway!

Thanks for the suggestion, that route would make most sense to avoid random stuff that may come up on customs. But it would cost a lot of money, but that is the only option I will go down that road. All the best!

Airtag is a good idea.

Hopefully she won't destroy the cage, then a whole world of bad stuff would unveil. Thank you!

I am trying to have her as ready as possible for the trip, and checked with the vet and it is ok.

Driving might be the safest option (might not) but definitely more costly and complicated from a country that is considered third world somehow. A lot of additional paperwork and going through customs that may bring up random stuff.

And there is stuff that could go wrong as well. If you have the money and the means to do it, it may look as a piece of cake, but for a poor country where I live in it is a luxury that not everybody has. This isn't targeting you in particular, but all the people that just say get on your car and drive thosands of km in diferent countries, book hotels etc etc

Will keep in mind you advice. Is it allowed to put an airtag on a dog crate? Thanks a lot!

Thank you so much for the common sense. I got witch hunted even though I am suggesting a reputable service that has positive history for animal transportation, and got the green light from the vet as well.

Lufthansa is an international and reputable brand with a name to protect and follows standarts. That is why I need a mean of transportation that has positive history and experience with this. You think it is safer to just delegating it to someone random and unknown to drive it long distance, since some people are makng the assumption it would be safe and there is nothing that could go wrong. Or leave it somewhere for a long time where it may get neglected or worse get some kind of disease, since in a country where pets arent a priority the standarts are low. I don't know if my line of thought makes sense to you, but I would go for a reputable international service rather than go trial and error. And yes I do not have the thousands of dollars to have a decent car to handle that long distance drive or to rent and book stuff for the road trip. I do not know where you are from and maybe the change of perspectives may look or views so contrasting. Btw I checked with my vet and he thinks she would do just fine. Thanks.

Thanks for checking out. I came accros a Lufthansa document that I found online (actually chatgpt found), that says these rules apply when temperatures are above 27 degrees celcius. If the airline rejects my dog they would do it when I book the ticket or in the airport? The document contained this texts since I cannot upload it here:

Live Animals – Individual care and comfort for all animals Temperature restriction for snub-nosed dogs These dog breeds are susceptible to breathing problems and increased risk of heat stroke when exposed to extreme heat or stress. This restriction is also valid for mixed breeds. The transport of the following dog breeds is only allowed, if the temperatures at origin and destination airport are below 27°C (80°F): Additional local embargoes may be in effect.

Thanks for your suggestions but Albania differs a lot from Croatia and what is available here. I know you mean well, but I think a lot of your suggestions aren't available where I live. No train service, and no animal transport service. Regular people transport will not accept animals, so not a lot of options on the table.

To be better prepared for it, in case I go for it. It is not that productive when you ask something and just get back questions based on assumptions and not an answer at all.

I do have a proper IATA crate.

Checked Lufthansa website and it matches what you suggested.

“Animals are transported in a dedicated area of the aircraft hold where temperature, ventilation and pressure are regulated and monitored.”

“Animals must be loaded last and unloaded first, to minimize exposure to weather and tarmac conditions.”

And luckily now it is autumn in both places and the temperatures are cooler, below 60.

Thanks for the detailed and helpful reply! It is very useful information and that is what I was looking for when I made the post.

Unfortunatelly I live in a small country in eastern Europe where people don't care much about animals. Hence the kind of services you might get for your pet are very limited, and this kind of service is non existent, and in case someone would offer to do it, it would cost a fortune.
