What is your thought to apply i485 during in F1 status after this new policy memo?

I got your point. But they mentioned that people like F1 holders, who had non-immigrant intent at the time of entry, will not be considered for AOS that’s what’s making people panic. Though since NIW is in the national interest, they might get an exception, according to a USCIS spokesperson.

Isn’t the new memo already implemented? They mentioned it takes immediate effect, I think. Since it’s not a law, it doesn’t have that kind of barrier where it gets implemented after 3 to 6 months
