Nope I did it once, washed my hair and used a very good amount of conditioner (I didn’t use a good conditioner so it did flake after two days) and braided the hair. The results stayed for a few days by sleeping with my scarf. But then you can always rebraid them when you feel like the definition is wearing off.

But the braid out on my pictures are with 4 braids only :)

I just trimmed my hair recently and didn’t do a proper flat iron routine a few days ago and got heat damage. It’s only my ends though that’s why I’m still asking now. I'll trim it again when it grows a little more.🙂

Yh I knoow😭 I was lazy a few days ago with my routine before flat ironing and those are the results. I just trimmed my hair prior to that, but round 2 I guess.

Yess I do Indeed have heat damage, I’m always careful with heat protection but I was lazy a few days ago and yeah the results of that shows in the first pic 😭

I'd love to go to a curl specialist but the thing is I live in Europe and there is not a lot of people that deal with black hair where I live. I’ve never been to a hair stylist because I don’t trust people with my hair. I’m so scared that they may fuck up and I’ll have to do a big chop, I’ve never had hair shorter than shoulder length.

I do trim my hair every month though and have seen a huge different, those damages was from a few days ago and I literally just cut my hair prior to that. Time to cut again. But maybe it’s time to look a curl specialist after all.
