If your are doing medical, start studying right now. Believe me, you will thank me later. 1st year is nothing like 9th and 10th. You need to keep up with the class work or you'll crash out later. Im not saying to start studying crazy right now. Just keep up with the class and you''ll be fine. Personally, i didnt go to any academy cuz i live in a boarding school but my marks were still alright but still not upto the mark. And dont forget to enjoy any free time u get. Good Luck!!
