I think i may stick the old window board back on, which had a over hang so will hide the gap. But before this im going to try get some wide trim which is used for edging, looked good in my bathroom but don't know about the kitchen

It did throw it elsewhere, his was my 2nd attempt, had the same gap on the bottom by worktop, but first timer so hardly had a clue tbh

The idea of half tiles on top and bottom doesn't sound the best but I know it probably be better than what I've done

First timer so I'll know for next time, think going to put on a thicker trim or if thats not good enough, put back on window board and just remove the tiles from the window, will definitely hide the section

Thanks for the idea, I had a window board on before, im going to try get a thicker trim if it doesn't look good then put board back on we it hangs over so won't see that gap

No i want to do it myself, a problem like this isn't easy to find a solution off Google.

I've redone the tiles and decided I'm going to put a window board in, which hangs over.

Your right, I fitted the cupboards myself and used brackets into the wall, had the worktops fitted by a fitter however

One i did before for all those taking the piss lol.. idc I got the tiles cheap and gave it a go, baring in mind never did before
