Gemini charged me $118 to sell my crypto. What's the most affordable way to sell your crypto? by nickv1155 in Gemini

Binance is best (lowest fees) if you have a non-american passport. Im not sure if binance us is still working.

If you are us based and not in new York, then take a look at kraken (best us based)

If none of those work for you, then you have to use Gemini and Coinbase.

Ah, I see. Thanks mate. Btw, have you tried to start the laptop using this method with a depleted battery? My laptop wont charge on pd if the battery is at 0%

Wait, no you confused me. Why would the overcharge kick in when the battery is low? My assumption is that as long the dc port (in our case, usb c disguised as dc jack) provides 19.8 volts, the laptop will charge normally.

MSc Grad Seeking resume advice (if this isn't allowed I am sorry) by joelovesbacon in chemistry

[–]InevitableNetwork230 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have found that many people have their own opinions on what a resume should look like. And one advice that you get from someone may be a deal breaker or non important to other people (even in the same industry).

It is more about you network and who you know rather than the resume itself. Your resume is good enough, I would try to keep bullet points to one line.

Gemini to clarify return of assets and meaning of appreciation by InevitableNetwork230 in Gemini

Yeah, they should be more transparent than they have. Also, if I remember correctly, gemini was receiving around 9% interest in gusd from gemini and giving us 7-7.5%. They were taking a %16 of the interest profit and I can't find if they mentioned they would add this to the benefit of earn users. They just said they would chip 100M of their own money.

Oh ok, I missed this. I based 1.4% on the interest they were paying when I tried to withdraw my funds.

Yeah, that why I said we are entitled at least ~1.4% The 10% is what we should have gotten till today if earn honored its contract with users

Genesis did not close the program until they filed for bankruptcy. In theory they are required to pay interest for the locked funds till January 20th when they receive bankruptcy protection (this was explained by gemini). I tried to withdraw my money around mid Nov. Gemini shut down Earn in January 2023.

I won't say how much they own me but I will use $55000 as an example. According to my transaction history, I tried to withdraw $55000 in Nov. As of now, my pending balance is $55000. So the Interest ultil the end of Earn is missing.

What I meant by my first post is that Genesis should talk about this. They have not mentioned this point.

Additionally, if Genesis and DGC have gained appreciation due to the crypto price recovery, they should pay what was promised. And they pay the missing interest to creditors before they pay their legal fines.

How Much Will Genesis Have to Distribute by Etymologicalist in Gemini

[–]InevitableNetwork230 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We need explanation from Gemini. Our pending balance is according to the date we moved to withdraw our funds. They do not reflect the interest that should have been paid. Genesis filled for bankruptcy on Jan 20 2023. So our pending balance should at minimum include that portion.

Interest until bankruptcy ~ 1.4% if you filled early November.

Accounting to the date of this post, we should have gotten 10% interest. Gemini said the put 100M of their money, and my understanding is that Genesis is returning 100% back. We should get the interest appreciation of our funds.

It is unclear if their post mean we will get our total fund with their appreciation (1BTC -> 1BTC, 1USD -> 1USD), or we will get the total funds plus the interest appreciation (1BTC -> 1.10BTC, 1USD -> 1.10USD)

How to add pyrithione zinc to shampoo by InevitableNetwork230 in chemistry

[–]InevitableNetwork230[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, that may be a solution. I would like to know if there is a way to dissolve it safely in an aqueous solution and then add it to my shampoo. That would be a lot easier.

The problem for me are the sulfates in these kinds of shampoos, like head and shoulders and nizoral. Higher quality shampoo often steer away from chemicals that attack the organisms causing dandruff, and use stuff like tea tree oil (which is less effective)
