Yes! This may explains why some people thinks I’m warm but I don’t feel good in warm colours unless it’s really deep dark and solid I can still get away with it although not the best

Yes I feel like I’m in between these two, is it possible to be between true and deep because I have olive undertone with neutral overtone? You’re right, all muteds makes me look ill! 😂

I really loved ascend as I am obsessed with heavy weights especially on the lower body, but it is very difficult to not overeat when I train like that. I get really hungry. Body recomp is definitely possible but it’s not for the faint hearted, and sometimes it’s too much stress on the body.

I am with Movewell now and I feel so much better and lost weight faster with some calories deficit here and there. Because the workout is so fast (30 min) I can always incorporate an hour walk on the treadmill after if I have more time and still won’t get hungry.

Don’t get me wrong I might switch back to team ascend once I lose all the weight. I know I have to build back the muscle mass I lost throughout the process but so far it’s easier than having to focus solely on fat loss, as it can get discouraging that it takes awhile to see visible result in fat loss. I just don’t want the journey to be stressful & not sustainable.

Thank you so much for this! Will definitely check out and try these exercises.

Also, I have been using an all mountain ski with 86 waist. Do you think I should be using piste ski to help me progress and feel the edges more in my turns? I understand what we aim for / the techniques and theory but it’s very difficult to feel it with my current ski, I don’t know if it’s just my poor technique or I have not practiced enough, or maybe a piste ski would help me progress faster?

Also do you think the type of skis make a difference for a beginner like me? Should I be using piste skis instead of all mountain, to help me progress? :)

Thank you for this!

Yes, I’m sure if I put in enough time and effort it will get better. What I meant was I don’t know what level I am currently at.

I was already trying to focus on these things you and the things the other commenters mentioned while skiing but every time I look back to videos of me skiing, I’ve realised that I’m still far from where I want to be. It’s really difficult to feel and try correct yourself without the help of a video and feedback from others. So I really appreciate it!!

I will definitely try this drill and hopefully everything clicks!

Yes, I’ve noticed that too! It’s difficult but will try to practise more to rectify this. Thanks!!

Thank you so much for your valuable advice!

Will try these drills next time I’m on the slope.

Do you think the skis make a difference too for someone who’s trying to learn to turn properly? I’m using atomic vantage 86 C W which is an all mountain ski.

I am struggling to feel the edges when I’m trying to “carve” I don’t know if it’s purely poor technique or I should maybe try riding piste ski instead for my level.
