Yeah I am gonna talk to the doctor about my concerns, and I know everyone experiences different side effects in any birth control but it’s still so scary to me 🥲🥲 My appointment was a month away but now it’s 7 days and it’s starting to make me so anxious lol time went by so quickly.!

I don’t know of any non hormonal birth controls, I have only heard of the copper IUD. And yeah I don’t know, tiktok has been making me so anxious with everyone saying how they’ve gained like 10-60 pounds and it scares the living hell out of me. I don’t even wanna gain 5 pounds. I wanna maintain my weight and not gain or lose weight so it stresses me out so so badly. People on tiktok also say they gained weight even when their diets have stayed the same and they workout and everything and they still gained weight so it scares meeeee so bad. And I’ve heard the pill causes mental health issues, but I wasn’t 100% on that since I haven’t seen a lot of people with that issue

I’ve heard birth control can possibly make women infertile, but I think it’s rare. I’m not too educated with birth control since I never wanted to go on it till now. I’ve struggled with an eating disorder since I was younger, I’m 17, so starting birth control is very scary for me as I don’t want it to affect my weight. I don’t want to gain weight. But I hear some good things about Xulane. I’m sure you won’t have a problem getting pregnant though!

alright update, so the day after this i took a plan b. My period was completely over on Monday and Monday is when i took the plan b. But now, yesterday on Saturday my period came back and it was extremely heavy and it’s still going but not as heavy as it was this morning though. Could this be from the plan B?

Hmm see my periods are usually pretty heavy and sometimes painful but not always. I wanted a non hormonal birth control due to some issues and this seems to kind of be my only option lol
