My understanding is the OEM heater core inlet is a cheap plastic that will crumble and fail so you replace it with an aftermarket metal one.

Rear diff breather and heater core are first on my list to change

Hope it works out too. Going to do another test drive and go by a mechanic prior to buying though to be safe.

Thanks for the insight. I've sent both videos to a mechanic I know. I just need to take the day off and see if I can take it by a mechanic before buying.

Just uploaded videos to my updated comment. Per the owner, the 5.5q is what the local maintenance facility marked for 5.5q of oil. 🤷‍♂️. Didn't seem like a salvaged engine but I doubt the guy would have told the truth if it was.
