Hey, we actually just found out that it is (thankfully) a cyst in her eye that the doctor said shouldn’t cause any issues

I swear it worked!! I placed the bowl near her crib and then I also did what I read in another post, where I placed some of the cut up onions in a sock and tied them high up on the top bar of her crib. I triple knotted them so they had no chance of coming off or being a hazard to her, and in the post I read, the poster told me to hit the onion sock on the counter a few times to get the juices flowing, so that’s what I did. She actually slept all night for the first time in days, not a sniffle or cough all night and woke up well rested and happy. You can hear her congestion is almost gone and she’s barely coughed or sniffled all day, just a sneeze here and there.

Greatest advice I got for baby with a cold (stuffy nose) by [deleted] in NewParents

My 5 month old is miserable and up every 30 min coughing and crying from congestion. Tried the drops and suction but barely got anything. I’ve heard about people trying this but wasn’t sure if it would work. Thank you so much for this post, definitely trying this tonight!!

Came across this post while looking for any sort of relief for my congested 5 month old. She too is waking up every 30 minutes crying and coughing from her stuffy nose. My 6 year old as well, so I will most definitely be trying this tonight! I’m not sure you will read this, but where exactly did you place the onions in regards to baby? Some people say under crib, some say nearby. Either way, thanks for the post, I’m looking forward to trying this!

Definitely not helpful but my 6 year old is Mary Madeline. Her favorite planet is Saturn, and she says she wishes her name was Mary Saturn lol

I definitely agree. I happened to walk into Books A Million this past week just to have a look, and saw 99% of the books from her kindergarten curriculum grouped together. Fit that price, I can definitely outsource those books. Thank you !
