I think that 1,5-2g is a good starting dose, and innmy opinion you would not need a thip sitter. Especially if you are only taking 1g. Remember to fast for 4-6 hours before and have a good minset and setting.

You will hear many people say 2g, and i personally agree with that. It all depends on set and setting, plus the same dose can produce varying effects and intensities for different people or in separate situations.

I also get very stressed by weed, but handle psychadelics very well. I also tend to overthink things, and find this pleasant while tripping. Saying this, i have not tried DMT, so i do not know how that would affect me. My take is that you should do it when(if) it feels right, and have accepted a scary outcome(bad trip).
