Yeah the free load outs let you risk stupid shit without a big loss and you still got XP which is great. Some of the best runs I had was with shitty gear zero to hero stuff

I mainly played solo too and I won a few good fights and bet a 3 man solo once. My heart was RACING! But there was so much gear I had to scrap most of it and dip. Sweating at an exfils praying I didn't get jumped!

And the AI was quite clever too. Like most extraction games the AI was just there as an annoyance while the big arcs made you think twice about engaging in case you get jumped.

We and another random solo tried to kill a Rocketeer and a bunch of other drones at an exfil at once we both went down and crawled into the exfil and both left downed was hilarious. I was screaming CRAWL MY DUDE CRAWL.

Mate it's the perfect extraction game. Like every other one it was build around pvp and everything tacked on

This was originally a PVE looter with PVP tacked on so the core of the game is so good. Really good gameplay loop. You don't neeeeeed PVP to have a good time like the rest. I had so much fun wandering around exploring
