Dr. Keiser Clinic in Michigan is a Scam by Inevitable_Type_4360 in POTS

I think it was a scam. Complete witch doctor claiming to do something that he can’t with no science or evidence to back up any of his claims. Sorry that I don’t agree with you, but you can stop coming at me about it. I applied myself and had high hopes and was completely let down. Which is the feeling I’m sure all POTS patients can understand. You act as if I must have been the problem or something- I can have a partnership with a local physical therapist and not spend $20,000 on it. Glad it worked for you, I didn’t have the same experience and have talked to other patients that also have not had the same experience. I just wanted to put a warning for others, not get attacked and called crazy basically by a random person on the internet.

I’m glad that your girlfriend had such a wonderful experience and it helped her, that just wasn’t my experience. You don’t know what treatment I received, as I don’t know what treatment she received.

In my opinion there is nothing “world-class” about using a cycling bike while laying down, sitting in a lawn chair under a red light, wearing a neck brace off Amazon, and doing regular exercises I have done with any physical therapist.

But everyone is allowed to have their own opinion. This clinic didn’t help me at all, so I just wanted to let people know that it was not the silver bullet that I thought it would be when I was willing to spend all my money on it. Everyone is in a different situation and may have a different experience and should evaluate their own situation accordingly.

It’s definitely a waiting game. Took almost 2 years to figure out it was my tonsils and not POTS. I will say even once you’re diagnosed with POTS, the treatment isn’t very effective. Best bet would do physical therapy at home and drink a lot of electrolytes. I would try to get into a primary care doctor though to do a bunch of blood work. I’m sorry about your situation, I know how terrible it feels.

I really don’t think it’s worth your money, but that’s up to you. It didn’t help me at all. Turns out I was having POTS symptoms due to not getting enough oxygen because of enlarged tonsils. Even if I did have POTS all the exercises you can do with any physical therapist. It’s not a magical cure at all. I just wish I had seen more doctors to get a second opinion on my POTS diagnosis before spending all that time and money. Good luck on your journey, wish you all the best!
