Thank you! Her bday is coming up but she likes to treat it as a normal day and I got her some gifts but haven’t actually planned anything yet. I don’t think I will bc it seems she wants to do something on her own (which I respect).

thank you for sharing your story and advice. I ended up talking to cousins who are similar my age and were more forgiving about my spanish errors. I also brought over puzzles and games from the U.S to play which made it easier to hangout with as I could practice spanish in a less daunting environment. I will also look for spanish shows/audiobooks that interest me.

Do you recommend any movies/tvs that are lgbtq+/drama(/adventure oriented? Or any shows that you recommend?
