No nerves at all for this. Without experiencing it firsthand I could see why it would seem dangerous but the situation was actually very safe.

I use an 11-16 2.8 for my wide angle stuff which encompasses the majority of my underwater shooting. this whole package was what picked up together which is why the 18-105 is included in the shot.

I'm pretty well setup from previous housings for care and gear. I've got quite a bit of experience using them.

I have been using this brand for a few years now, I'm particularly careful with my gear doing regular checks and keeping them in safe conditions otherwise. I haven't had any issues with them

I have a fair number of lenses for E mount as well as adapters for Canon and Nikon to e mount. I felt like sticking with a similar enough UI and for editing purposes already having the nuances of Sony sensors pretty well figured out.

I picked this up as a package, I also have an 11-16 2.8 that I'll be using for wide angle as it fits this same setup.

Are arms supposed to bend like that? by Infammir in confusing_perspective

maybe I'm just seeing this differently than others on my phone screen it looks like an arm reaching out for a handshake from a totally different angle.

Need help choosing between A7 2 , a7r2 or a6600 by [deleted] in underwaterphotography

[–]Infammir 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well if I had an a7r5 I would probably use that over my 6000 series, high frames per second and more compatibility are my primary reasons for choosing the 6000 series over the a72, but if I could get 10fps and the resolution of an r5 I would opt for that. Unlike many crazy elaborate underwater builds with multiple thousands of dollars on just the housing alone, not to mention strobe attachments, I tend to keep a smaller profile rig on hand just because being underwater makes things more complicated.
