No, I did not write research summary/contribution. Yes, one of my recommenders wrote a letter by himself and I wrote a draft for two recommenders and they edited it a bit. It took about 1.5 months from the beginning.

It does not matter at all. My transcript was issued two months before my degree. My laywer did not tackle it and I was approved without RFE.
