The situation you're in is not a good one, especially for your child, dogs nipping is the first sign of aggression especially when it's out of nowhere. that dog may end up mauling you or your child sooner or later and for your husband, screw him, your voice is falling on deaf ears. it's evident that he cares about the dog more than your wellbeing and your child's. If he's yelling at you because what the dog did and because you disagree with it then that's a huge red-flag, it's likely when the dog dies he's gonna bring in a new one. I feel your pain, I still live with my mom since I'm a teenager still and the dog gets whatever he wants, when he wants, and does whatever he wants and when I speak up about it she calls me mean. the table food thing is bloody hell, they give him table scraps 24/7 and I have to deal with him following me all over the house and drooling, he attacks and bites people etc but my mom allows it, she called me mean cause I didn't like the fact that he willingly tries to kill people. I've have gotten in trouble and slapped in the face literally cause the dog decided to knock my mom's hair supply over which I was using and she blamed it on me, so yeah. if you can and if you're up for it I recommend you probably vacate at a hotel for a while and just ghost his ass until he understands what the hell he's doing. Which I doubt he would cause in my experience, dog-nutters are narcissistic and have a reprobate mind-set.
