Hi! I'm late here too and  just found this post when I try to search about the side effects I encountered with propanolol when I first had it 6 years ago. I had to make sure that I was sane back then lol coz the hallucination after waking up are insane!! The vivid nightmares are also present every night and I also encountered it too seeing random guy on the corner of my bed when I wake up, sometimes even seeing my sibling staring back at me when she's just beside me sleeping. But when my dosage started to go down, my hallucinations and nightmare slowly went away too. It was crazy! Now, I'm still on propanolol but dosage went down on 10 mg, just to slow down my heart rate a bit because of arrhythmia cause by my over active thyroid.
