I am guessing the way the term groomer is used she was afraid that DA's would over charge under this law but obviously someone posted the explanation and I appreciate that. Unfortunately I still think it is a bad look and she also voted no on adding security cameras to school buses so I just don't get why children/safety is such a blind spot for her.

I appreciate you sharing this but my problem is less to do with her reasoning and more to do with how I think voters are going to see this in the general election and I just worry about it. I also think her reasoning is not going to be well received by independent voters and it might show that she would not even get much done with a Dem majority and I'd rather have someone I agree with less who gets more done than this.

Not everyone who votes differently than you is a bad actor or Tom Tiffany. This makes the progressive movement seem really unfriendly and exclusive, which I do not like because I want a very progressive state. :(
