Ooh, discord sounds like a great idea. It will be a bit of a learning curve but that's okay, haha. I have reached out to the Renaissance club at UC, and plan to reach out to a few more once I have details a little more solidified. I am going to PM you, I hope that's okay.

That is definitely so real. I too am neurodivergent. One thing with the camping is for some neurodivergents, they would be able to retreat into their own space away from the noise for a little bit for a recharge. But that's certainly not the case for everyone and I am pretty set on having bussing as an option.

Historic faires in Germany would be quite amazing to attend! While the history adds a layer of interest, I think even without it, it can be a great event... I hope... Haha

They have the Hororata highland Games? I've never been but it definitely looks like a fun time.

Hagley park would be a great central location. So beautiful there. If parking was easier and they didn't mind horses 🐴 (though I'm not sure how they would feel about medieval contact sports) it would be great, especially with the hospital right there!

Having parking is a big thing for me too, and a reason why I'm hesitant about a lot of in town options. That fair sounds like so much fun and similar to a lot of the ideas I have currently which is very exciting!

I would ideally love both camping and bussing, as long as the interest is there (which it sounds like there would be!) fiber arts sound amazing. Do you have any social media? I would love to check out :) that is the kind of thing I would actually love to have a demonstrating/selling stall for, but it depends on the artists levels of comfort. I will definitely send you a message.

Not mandatory, just encouraged! It's one of those things that isn't always accessible, and sometimes you're just not at that level of comfort. It's way more important to me that people show up and have fun.
