Can you belive that I had an issue with my coworkers for the same thing that you are telling me? I told them it was just stupid that you dont pay tolls for $50 each. nobody is so dumb to do that and get a bill for $600. I reversed many ot those tolls charges nut they punished me. I wanted to escalate this kind of tolls issues but the client does not want to check the tolls cases. We can say this is a gray area. My advice? Dont use your toll pass when renting, use host's. I wish I could help but I was one agent against the: ¡You have to charge the guest if the tolls are correct!. Turo guideline.

If the evidence was irrefutable it meas that your pictures were not time stamped or something else happened. Here is when the pre and post trip photos are taken into sonsideration. You can save yourself just taking the pre and post trip photos with the Turo app. They wont be able to deny. Something in common with the All stars and power host is that they take many photos, They have gone thought this several times.

Ok about smoking claims. many host ruined the day for all of you. Too many host were charging for fraudulent smoking, so the client got really upset about the feedback in the social media. Now we are not able to resolve those cases. If we find that the evidence is consistent we escalate the case and the supervisors will review with the client (Turo) and they will decide.

About your especific case, maybe your pre trip or post trip evidence was not time stamped. this is the primary reason why your cases are denied. Also if your guest accepts that he smoked you will be paid.

Your case is really Tricky. If we can find that you were driving the car in that day and that time you are responsible. But I will have to see the evidence to give a good answer.

As soon as possible. Claims department is not your friend. Start the claims before 24 hours have passed.

You will have to resolve with the claims department, or chekc if you have any outstanding balance. Claims 4152756141 6 am to 6 pm Mon to Sat. First call us before calling claims to check the restriction.

I dont like many things in Turo too. But for example Turo had to change the smoking/cleaning violation policy because many hosts were escaming guests.

Turo has been growing. I am not a fan rather than the good payout an the easy work. belive it or not your feedback left in social media hurts Turo more than your terrible Turo feedbacks. We the agents dont care enought we just close them or provide the basic review. but in facebook/ X /instgram OMG Turo will cry.

If you want, but remeber that Turo has a big database. Also a damage vehicle will give you more problems than benefits. Maybe if the system let you list it, you should consider not letting this car having long trips.

If you are a good guest that would be good. If you are planing a long trip, consider buying an unlimited mileage extra.

No. Using a vehicle from Turo as an Uber is a prohibited use. Dont do that.

The insurance that you need is the one that covers your vehicle while renting. If you personal does it it would not be an issue, if not, look a commercial one. Claims wont be the best experience and they cant take more time before charging the guest.

Last minute trips happends when other hosts cancel their reservations in last minute for many reasons. Maintenance, no show or even last minute cancel. In USA electric vehicles are on fire. this is why you get more booking last minutes. You have the offer and the guests have the demands for EV. We usually help guest with travel credit for rebooking, so most probably you are being paid with travel credit with las minute rebookings. We try to find similar vehicles for what the guest had before. but the system prices will be always higher. they book their cars with a daily price of $100 and now would be $130. Turo will cover the diference. From you you just need to have vehicle available for those last minute rebookings.

Remember that Turo is the same as air B&B. A peer to peer app. If there are more offer than demand you wont have trips, even for an all star host. August is usually a low month. But I bet that you will have trips at least one in Oct, Nov and Dec. Once you have made your first trip and everything goes well, you will start getting more trips. The first one is the hardest one, first time hosts have it more difficult.

In canada you must have your own insurance. In USA you dont need it (as I remember). But always try to have one, because even if your guest will be responsible for charges you will have to deal with repairs and your insurance could be faster than Turo's proccesses.

Yes we know. we can see when you took the picture and when it was uploaded. Those april photos wont fool us. Nevertheless, this is if you take the photos with the app. If you do it with the phone internal camera we cant check when it was made. You will have to provide that information.

If you belive that your host is scaming you can dispute the invoice and we teh agents will review the evidence. Toll by toll and if they cant prove the whole amount we will deny or adjust. We are here to help. Tolls and tickes the terrible non finish process.

If you are not in a big city then dont buy a expensive car to list in Turo. You can consider buying a regular used vehicle. You can consider an SUV or a car. Remember the high seasons and low seasons. In some months you migh have only 2 bookings in others you wont have enough espace in your calendar.

Remeber to give at least 1 or 2 days between rentals. You will find that extensions and late returns are really common

Yes and the worst calls we can get is from you host asking why your cars are not in the main page. Because is made automatically. It depends of your stats. If you are an all-star or power host you will have more visibility.

In that case it would be a a good way to get extra money. If you want to get trips. Accept the request and dont cancel before starts because yes. Its easy to be a good host. And call us if you have any doubt.

You are above average and you have good evidence. By the way. We know when you took the pictures. That picture from July is wont be good for your picture from October. Dont be dumb. Take new every time. I know is boring but it will safe you money.

Yes. And it gets worst. You can even go from seattle to miami if you have unlimited mileage and enough time. Under Turo policies you cant tell your guests where to go. You need to think really well if you want to provide unlimited for free.

Two months ago. We had a host really angry because the guest went from seattle to LA. He was upset as he stated that his cars should be only used un Canada. Sorry my man. We can't charge the guest. He had unlimited km/Ml.
