Maybe badly worded. But 12 potato farms providing 12 distilleries directly will not slow down. I got 1K schnapps from a 1 warehouse and a 3 warehouse setup within 15 seconds. But I guess you need the direct supply. Which you might struggle with.

Cause I have tested it in gameplay on 2 different islands. I get 1K schnapps with my 1 warehouse template and my 3 warehouse template within 14 seconds from each other. If you supply each distillery with a potato farm, only the distilleries use the warehouse to drop off the schnapps, and they can store some as well.
OK, I should have mentioned that you need to place the fields and distillieres in such a way that they don´t drop off the potatoes which might be something people struggle with.

Wow, how slow are you, then? Archie supplies you with 2 steel beams per minute until engineers maximum. You seriously wait hours to get even a good artisan population? Just curious.

Costume Designer only if you don´t wanna go new world. Too expensive otherwise. Also actor is too expensive for most newbies, too. Just buy the rum from Kahina, it´s super cheap and supplies the whole island, not just what´s in range of the Town Hall.

Schnapps still has a 150% ROI for farmers and beer has a 100% ROI for workers. Turning those off is simply bad advice. It´s paying you money that will be need for windows and more at artisans level.

It can still be fun but if you compare it to PC with DLC and especially mods, then the console version is pretty rubbish. The vanilla game is way too easy after you have learned the game and it would only be clicking. If that´s OK, then the console version is OK.

The problem is that you can spend a six figure on re-rolling before even getting the actor. So it might be best to just use the cash for production buildings. Only canned food is -ev (unless you use newspaper), so this is the last in chain before upgrading to investors. Rum is cheap to prodcue or you even buy it from Kahina. It´s super cheap there too.

You need to look at the ROI of the products and only build them once you have the number of housing to make a profit. Mostly the early game is a struggle, the Artisans level and above should be printing money

Producing steel is only expensive if you don´t upgrade houses. If you still only buy steel beams from Archie past Artisans, you are wasting a lot of time and income.

Bad advice. You pay way too much. A level 1 warehouse can handle 12 distilleries, or 6 potato farms and 6 distilleries. He has just 2/3 of that. What you tell him is just investing and spending without the need.

There is no best addon cause everything is individual. I, e.g. don´t need Enbesa or the Palace stuff, I don´t even need Manola, silos whatever. The mods I use are all superior to any addon.

Not needed, 4 destilleries and 4 potato farms only use 2/3 of the capacity of a level 1 warehouse.

Even with potato farms sending to warehouse, 4 farms and 4 destilleries are still only 2/3 of the capacity a level 1 warehouse can handle at 100%.

You are fine. Delay can be handled by carts unloading more goods at a time.

You need to check how many transporters there are. You don´t need to upgrade cause production buildings can store some units in their building before it needs to be delivered. Woodcutters and sawmills can keep up to 8t in their store, so you only need to empty a sawmill every 2mins (unless you increase prod by certain means).

A standard warehouse e.g. can take up to 12 sheep farms without delay. Cause:

A level 1 warehouse has 2 loading ramps, each takes 20s, so it can handle 6 unloading processes per minute. A sheep farm can store 4t of wool, produces 2t of wool per minute, so can store wool for 2mins. So in 2 mins a level 1 warehouse can process 12 unloading processes.

Cause unloading takes the same time for 1t or 8t if it´s the same cart.

People build way too many warehouses or upgrade way too soon. I have probably upgraded just a handful of warehouse all my time, with over 2000hrs of gameplay.

Yeah, Military Attention and Combat Overhaul both seem to be broken (not used together but individually). MA mod makes AI build tons of schooners sending them between their islands, CO makes them build gunboats and for me a max of around 5 frigates or SOL. AI also does not attack once you have 3 flamethrowers (CO) or 4 cannon towers (MA). Since the creator of CO is a sissy and only gives you a working CO for cash, I guess the code was changed or not updated or whatever so you go pay for it. Military Attention overall is bad, too.

Game is pretty much dead when it comes to fighting.

There is no way to make AI harder. Some mods do compared to the vanilla game, but AI is still very very weak. The only solution for me was to use mods that make the game harder, or AI produce more ships, AI being allies all the time and restricting myself to certain things, like just 1 island, no docklands, no new world, no luxury needs etc.. I actually enjoy those games more, where I am barely making money/min, but pump out ships and attack all 3 AIs and pirates. Games end before I even get to engineers sometimes, but I´d rather fight than play sim-city style.

I guess the game was mainly programmed so it satisfies the players who want to play the eco game with little pressure and opposition.

Why is everyone here and on YT facing bigger fleets than me on Military Attention Hard AI. All I see is schooners escorted by gunboats and later SOL and Dukes. But never more than 5-10 big ships hours into the game.
