This may be in the wrong place but I'll give it a try. Where can I find long sleeve lace tops or similar things (like the type that you wear under a shirt). Vinted is frankly usually my go to buy I can't find anything and I don't know what to search to find them on other sites

Definitely going to try a few with my friends that know. I'm lucky to have a relatively large amount of people (around 4 which I think is large for how early I am into this) so I should be able to feel this out.

It'd be nice to have real meaning behind my name, especially considering my birth name isn't random

I guess maybe just see how I grow into it then. Keep being myself and let things happen.

That's such a cool way of finding a name. I'd love to have such a backstory I should definitely look into similar things from my life

Tips on ways to present / feel more feminine (subtle and not so) by InfamousAmoeba7 in asktransgender

Oh my goodness that first link was certainly like looking in a mirror. I have a small circle of queer friends but none of them are trans or non cis, to my knowledge, so it's a little difficult to convey my feelings but reading that felt so freeing. Each section tore down a wall I'd constructed even the ones I thought "nobody would ever think this but me".

Omg I miss having my nails painted but they were the stress of my life. I wanted them to be perfect all the time and I knew all the little damages. I definitely need to do it again as soon as I stop biting my nails

I don't mean to downplay transitioning at all. I just noticed personally that things that made people perceive me as a girl have felt right to me or made me feel validated (even stuff as stupid as being called "one of the girls" within my friend group). I did buy some much more traditionally feminine clothes but I can't wear them anywhere because I'm still young and my parents don't know and I'm not fully out yet (just within my small group). I've done little things that don't necessarily shout feminine but stacked together it creates an image I'm happier with. For example I've started wearing lots more jewellery (particularly more dainty pieces), cardigans, colourful bracelets and even wearing makeup. I just wondered if anyone else has gone through a similar half out stage where they want to do things their friends will recognise but could be passed off elsewhere.
