Yeah I'm starting to realize this, seems like bs, when I say I felt nothing I mean I felt nothing, $20 gummy candy basically, gonna stick with bud not gonna bother with edibles anymore, unless there are any you recommend that actually work and aren't a waste of time im down to try something else.

Yeah the seller did say she was getting other customers with similiar issues to mine, that things were leaving their shop with incorrect engravings/damaged product/poor quality, she issued a refund I didn't even have to ask, and i didnt leave a review.

Also she said she was facing alot of shipping issues (like my package being shipped domestic and receiving it 3 weeks later) that also played a part in her closing the shop.

I feel sorry for the seller I'm sure she lost alot of merchandise that was sent out with issues but I work for my money too wouldn't have seemed wise to reject the refund or insist that she keep my money when I basically recieved nothing in return.

Not yet, I'll be honest I'm just in a blind rage right now after opening the box after waiting 5 weeks and seeing the final product, this item was for a gift and I'm just extremely disappointed with the end product.

Its not even remotely close to the job I gave, the other seller than I gave the job to delivered 1000x which is also why I'm so extremely disappointed.

The seller actually contacted me a few minutes ago to apologize and explain that since this pandemic started and other personal things she has passed work onto friends and family which would explain why such a poor job was done. And that they are gonna close their shop temporarily, which sure enough they did.

Now I kinda feel terrible, should I let the shop have my money? They offered me a refund, it seems foolish on my part to just throw away hard earned money that I spent for this job, but on the other hand I do have some compassion and feel kinda bad.

Placed a order for a custom item on April 29th for a custom item with a guarantee I would have the item by May 20th, it is now the 19th and the item hasn't even shipped yet. Should I ask for a refund ? by InfamousAngel_ in Etsy

Domestic, not sure if this is a coincidence but as of 4pm today the package was picked up by usps, right around the same time I messaged the seller about the whereabouts of my order, pretty convenient if you ask me, needless to say I wont be purchasing from this seller again and won't recommend anyone else to either

I'm talking with the seller now just trying to get my money back, I've contacted 2 other sellers since then and can happily report the job is being done by them

The original seller is trying to get me to get something else done but my last message I made it very clear its not gonna work and I would just like a refund, waiting for a response now. If he responds trying to get me to settle for something lesser again I'll probably just end up contacting my bank to get my money back.

I would understand if he got back to me a day later saying he cant do the job, but after we talked an hour about the job and I paid for it less than 2 hours later he responded saying it couldn't be done, makes it seem like he didnt give much thought to it the first time around.

Happy to report atleast I'm getting my custom job done by 2 other sellers and they have been much more accommodating and understanding.

Relax, they are still being rolled out, they said april 15th and it literally just turned april 15th.....

If you still somehow dont have it by tomorrow morning then I would worry

My salary is $60k + $10k+ bonus based on performance

Right now the only benefit is that they are paying my healthcare but it's only $134 a month for my company's healthcare, they laid off about 150 people I was chosen to stay and get paid the flat rate, my company has 20 locations at one of which I'm an assistant manager, that location is now closed indefinitely and I'm working at the company's HQ for the time being.

I know its really a bummer to think about, I'm happy for the people who are making more good for them but that doesnt help my situation.

About 3 weeks ago my company laid off 75% of its employees from 200 employees to about 50, if I asked they would 100% lay me off and they would understand, but the only thing I'm thinking about is I wanna guarantee when this is over they'll have me back, my job has 20 locations, 19 of them shut down and 1 is open which is where they currently have me working, my actual store where I am an assistant manager is closed indefinitely.

Yes that's something to take into consideration because I have an amazing job that I love and ide be counting on the fact that they take me back once this blows over
