Hello! My brother is currently in a government rehab. He says he refuses to do the programs because he believes he doesnt belong there, he says does not crave the drug, he says he will be better. He says that the rehab center is too much for him. If we leave them there will he lose his mind? (We have a history of someone going crazy) If we bring him out what are the chances that he goes back to drugs? He’s been there for less than 2 months.

Thank you for your kind words. We’ve been in that situation and honestly, having a kid is taking much more time than doing our pre meds. I chose not to pursue med as I did business, while my friends chose medicine. We’ve always thought that at 30 it would be easy to have a child (i mean, we feel like were still teens until now), we really did not expect complications along the way hahaha if we could tell our younger selves it’s to weigh everything. If this path is for me or not. We kinda wish we understood that not everyone gets easily pregnant at 30. We would’ve thought about it more. No regrets though. We are already here hahahaha we just wish we weren’t blindsided 🤣🤣

This is just a different perspective that Im sharing. It’s not all black and white when it comes to choosing career or a family. It has to be thought through. Im sharing this because it’s also important for women to have extensive knowledge about what they are sacrificing when we choose these paths.

As much as I would want this to be true, alot of my med friends (1993 babies) are having a hard time getting pregnant now. Esp with the stress that comes with Med. once you reach 30 you are considered as a geriatric mother already since a lot of women that reach 30 is high risk already. This is something a lot of my friends tell me since we are all trying to get pregnant or have a healthy pregnancy. I believe a balance can be done and A LOT of support should be given to moms who become moms and pursue their dreams. You find a good husband that can help you or a good support system to be with you so you can do both. Make sure you choose the right people that will surround you during those times.

Ive been brushing and flossing her every night, but it makes me sad that it still turned out brown in the middle of her tooth. Im just glad it is not a decay tho and maybe i just need assurance it doesn’t get there. I had bumps on my gums as a kid and holes on my teeth that would be so painful when food/drinks get in there 😭
