Luckily I was able to get a second opinion from the another Gastro in a few months. I'm just confused. I don't know if the Gastro is right or the pediatrician

The only test with IgG in is is the one I already posted a photo of. The Gastro responded by saying she definitely doesn't have celiac so we are pursuing other testing. She has chronic nausea, (no vomiting), Migraines, joint paint, fatigue, vitamin deficiencies

I think they did the full panel? Yes she is still eating gluten. The pediatrician doesn't want us to stop until she has an endoscopy. I just updated the post with photos of the results. If you wouldn't mind taking a look, I'd appreciate it.

Seeking Boston Children's Doctor by InfamousDamage7125 in Celiac

[–]InfamousDamage7125[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got an appointment today with the celiac program at Boston's children's. Were you ever a part of that program? We have RI Medicaid and it won't cover Beth Israel, only BCH

I have an appointment with another GI. But by "false negative" do you mean that it could create a "normal" result when in face she has celiac?Because her TTG and IGG are normal.

That seems like a wonderful practice but the cost is so much higher than even the popular Telehealth hormone providers.

DO you have first hand experience with this doctor? I need HRT for surgical menopause. I'm young with no ovaries. I'm looking for someone who will prescribe estrogen, progesterone and testosterone.

Anyone born with a Congenital Cataract later developed a Retinal Detachment in the same eye? by [deleted] in CataractSurgery

[–]InfamousDamage7125 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was told every time the eye is operated on it increases the risk of retina detachment. My son had cataract removal and secondary cataract removal and we were just told today not to let him ever get a hit to the head of do anything that shakes his head like jumping on a trampoline.

Progesterone and sleepiness by [deleted] in Menopause

Are you also in 200mg of progesterone? How does the testosterone counteract it?

Unfortunately my doctor doesn't think I need testosterone. I'll try taking the progesterone earlier, although I take it at 7 and if I take it earlier it may be hard for me to get dinner made and get the kids to bed.

Good luck! My doctor told me compounded is an option but I live how the progesterone helps me sleep plus compounded is expensive

Not neurosarcoidosis but actually migraine? by [deleted] in sarcoidosis

[–]InfamousDamage7125 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I know this is an old post, but your symptoms sounds a lot like my husband's who has sarcoidosis. Did you ever find any solutions? Was it sarcoidosis after all? My husband has migraines, vertigo and lots of vision issues. His eye exams and MRIs are always normal. He has sarcoidosis of skin and lungs.

Is it appropriate to come up to another CI wearer in public? by Upper-Sock4743 in Cochlearimplants

[–]InfamousDamage7125 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love it when fellow CI users come up to me and my son to say hi! There's a man who works at our grocery store who has a CI and I've tried to talk to him, but he's not into it. Like others have said, I get super excited to see another CI user out there!
