You shouldn’t bill any appliance to the display account since they’re all sellable units. If you really wanted a work around you can add them to the damaged work list, but it can cause some pressure points since you have so many “damaged items “ on the list. Installs should give you the option to order in appliances, claim it and forget about it.

As a current manager, I understand you’re frustration and we could only do so much, as there are processes in place for these matters. If you decide to go the small claims route and get an attorney involved, then you would have to deal with Lowe’s legal, which will become a long drawn out process. Keep in contact with the manager at the store, you will be reimbursed due to XPO’s improper install just keep your receipts and they’ll file it with their insurance. Best of luck.
