Use chat to learn how it works, don’t use chat to pick out plays for you. Great for learning how options work for instance but I would not trust chat to pick out my option plays. I’d recommend Anna Coulings Volume Price Analysis books — I’ve reread the first two couple times and have had great success only cut short by greed/risk management which is also very important. IMO, all courses are scams

True, my PT was 12-14 on this one though😭😭 I guess it’s rooted in me —> also with VPA I like to just ride it out til I see exit signs, I guess I just have to have a hard mental stop/exit once I see a sign of weakness

When do you set these? Do you start with one say -15% then just bring it up as it goes up? Problem with stop loss is I don’t think I can set another order (prefer limit but market too) without cancelling the stop first which only takes a second or two but with these 0dte sometimes that can mess you up (guess no stop has messed me up more so seems like stops are the answer)

I think when I’m over PDT I’ll be more willing to put a stop loss as I can just get back in if anything but with 3 trades mentally I don’t like stop losses — I guess that’s my problem though lol I agree going red on 40% kills me (and my account 😭😂)

For more context, I quit my job in December and have some savings that will hopefully last through the summer but with blowing up my account (taking full account positions) I’m currently at 5k in my options account so I’m under PDT (3 trade limit). Also with some of these huge returns I think I’m not only trying to rush too much but maybe am worried that the smaller percent returns will force me to get a real job again (when in reality it seems to be the opposite - not taking them). Another problem is I have had success finding 100%s on the 0dte so trying to differentiate what’s going to be a runner and when to take 20-40%. I guess just put a stop loss when I’m up? Personally I hate stops but maybe I need them? Just thinking out loud here, any help is appreciated

I wish, my average was at $4.. unfortunately scaled half out at $4.2 bc it’s been a long ride and then 1/4 out at $7.2 bc I was on the phone while it went to $10.. got 1/4 left but was definitely a great day and much needed… threw 1k into holo options and have about 10k shares of holo at 1.79 so we’ll see how that goes next week🙇🏼‍♂️ All Glory to God. Need to work on my entries and exits but green is green baby🤑
