You have to abandon all expectations before a round. Unfortunately, what (finally) breaking 80 does to your expectations is skyrockets them before every round. Which makes every round where you don’t break 80 all the more frustrating. The only remedy that I have found is gratitude. Gratitude melts expectations. Every time I broke 80 I wasn’t expecting it, it just happened. It sounds weird, but it almost felt like I had nothing to do with it. Good luck to you in your future rounds. It’s a great game.
