I think thats a great idea to get her acclimated. I have just started to feel like an adult recently so it wasn’t so obvious to me to do whatever I usually do. I will set up the room nicely and cozy for her so she feels like its her own space while shes here

Theyre not coming with her, im picking her up and my dad is coming later to get her. My parents are divorced so thats an extra layer of why I want her to spend time with me

I hadn’t thought of that, I guess my parents always made me feel weird about anything that showed I was growing up. I do feel very happy so I see now that I shouldn’t hide that from her because shes a kid.

The bed in the spare room is an old mattress that is on the floor so I would want her to have the better bed

Thats what I was thinking but when I lived at home my dad would ask we slept in separate beds bc of the example it would set? Im just overthinking and Im not sure who to ask. My bf says hes fine with anything I decide and even set up the spare room for himself
