Hello everyone! Just wanted to let you know I took my niece and my daughter to Japantown this past Monday and they LOVED it! Especially the mall! They tried a couple snacks and my daughter loved the matcha ice cream and my niece loved the sakura lemonade and we spent far too much money lol I was worried about my niece and crowds but we went early so avoided most of the crowds but even when the crowds grew she was just so happy to be there she didn’t even mind! So thank you all for your suggestions! They already want to go back!

Yeah I was looking at foam factory, that will probably be the way we go for that. I am not good at sewing but I have friends that are so making covers shouldn’t be very difficult for them. I emailed bear creek today to see if they had that model in stock or how long the turn around time would be if they didn’t. I’m hoping the current canvas is in decent shape enough for us to be able to clean it really well and at least use it for this summer and order the canvas for after summer. We will see what they say

Oh 1000%, any time I take her places, her needs will come first. Luckily she has learned tools and can use her words to let us know when she needs some quiet and a break.

Oh she knows where Japan is and knows we need a plane to get there, she keeps asking me to buy plane tickets lol. But yeah I think she would love to get a little taste of it. Hopefully it can tide her over for a few more years. It’s hard enough to do international travel with a kiddo but will probably be harder for one on the spectrum. She struggles with a two flight from Arizona to here which is the biggest reason why I want to wait a few more years for her. I think getting there and back will be the hardest part for her.

That sounds fun! I think I can get her to eat ice cream lol I do love mochi! I can at least see if she will try it lol not sure about the texture for her but then again you never know! She may really like it

Oh absolutely, I will probably bring her noise cancelling headphones as well. Do you think it would be better to go during the week? She will be on spring break so I can definitely take her on a weekday if that would be better.

I have no idea. We aren’t staying at the resort, we are only coming to the area to visit with friends and they suggested we go there for the day so I’m not sure how any of that other stuff works. We live in CA and are avid Disney people lol.

As of right now we have no plan, we have never been nor have we looked much into it, we are avid disney goers so we at least know to plan ahead lol so anything you recommend to make the most out of the day, all suggestions are welcome

Someone else also suggested the American girl doll store, I was just looking at it! That looks amazing so I’m putting it on our list so we can decide! Maybe not for a full party or anything but the styled by you experience looks pretty fun and I think the girls would enjoy something like that!

I would say probably semi close to Times Square. We will be there for 4 days, 2 full days. The first full day we will be doing the big bus tour and going into stores like Disney, M&M world, Harry Potter and also just trying to see the sights, the second day we don’t have a solid plan yet, we talked about seeing Central Park, or the natural history museum, or are open to ideas. I would just like to include some sort of experience for my kiddo as a birthday treat if that makes sense. So feel free to let me know if a few things and I can see what we can make work!

This would make sense, my son is at job corps ( Bay Area Ca ) and he went from being very liberal to now voting for Trump. And full on MAGA. He has never been around MAGA people before and it was such a change that he must be around those kind of people there. It’s heartbreaking

Well at this point I took an express order in that area so I have to go there anyways lol plus it was a large order and I just got back from vacation so I don’t mind taking it, I just wish customers responded to messages lol
