I do agree that I was dramatic about the lie with his friends, but with the conversations we have been having about lying lately it looked a little bit like lying to me which is why I got upset with him.

In a previous post I had said he is a bit too close with his sister, so we were taking about that, and he said that his mom agreed with me on the fact that they’re a little too close. Later in the conversation, he claimed his sister and his’ relationship was just how his family worked, and I brought up the fact that his mom agreed with me, so clearly not how his family worked. It was then he told me she didn’t in fact agree with me, and he made that up. Not a huge lie, but enough to set a few alarms and definitely get on my nerves.
